MY TOP 10 GIRLS, TOP BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Ahh this is a post I have been super excited to bring you all! I got some of my favourite ladies on board to help with this post because I thought getting a variety of different ages, preferences, opinions, styles and skin complaints to contribute to this would be extra fun! I have also learnt a lot from asking these lovely lot what their favourite beauty products are, because its actually allowed me to learn about a whole new bunch of products that I have never heard of or tried before, and now I am super eager to give some a whirl.

I have spoken so many times about what my favourite products are, and so I wanted to find out what other peoples favourites were! I chose 10 of my closest friends to tell me all about their favourite beauty products and so this could include skincare, make up, appliances, hair care etc! So lets get into this...

......

1. RUTH | BOOTS OPTICIANS & BLOGGER - "My favourite beauty product has to be the Clinique sonic system purifying cleansing brush. I used to be massively lazy and use nothing more than a quick face wipe to take off my make up, with this brush its so easy to get rid of all the dirt that clogs your pores. I use mine while in the shower alongside the Clinique cleansing foam and it takes a minute to do your whole face, it leaves my face feeling squeaky clean. I love the results I have seen from using it, my skin is in much better condition and it helps to get that flawless finish when applying make up. I would be lost without it now." - As a user of a facial exfoliating brush myself, I know from my own experience that these are SO good and really do change your skincare game altogether. John Lewis - £79.

2. ZOE | DENTAL NURSE - "I have many products from e.l.f cosmetics however I think the hydrating bubble mask is definitely my new favourite addition to my skincare routine. As long as you apply a thick layer of gel you get plenty of bubbles/foam. Some products can leave my face feeling dry however this one doesn't at all and my skin feels incredibly soft after! Its also quite fun to use." - How exciting does this product sound?! I actually really want to try some products from E.l.f as I have literally not tried any! This sounds great if you have skin on the drier end of the spectrum! E.L.F - £14.

3. RACHAEL | SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER - "My favourite product is my daily exfoliating wash from Clean & Clear. It leaves my face feeling fresh, clean and supple. Perfect for me after a long day teaching! Its relatively cheap and also lasts a long time because you don't need to use much. The exfoliating beads are small and aren't harsh and doesn't leave my skin sore at all! Definitely recommend it!" - Well we certainly all love a cheap and cheerful skincare product don't we! I have personally used the clean and clear products before and have found them to work really well! Especially the exfoliating products because I have super oily skin myself. Definitely worth it if you have a smaller budget for skincare. Boots - £3.20.

4. GILL | FACTORY WORK AND MUM OF 4 - "Difficult question for me. As an everyday thing I like my moisturiser because its the one thing I can wear for work (A Simple one because I can't afford expensive) and there are probably better ones out there. But if I am not at work then probably mascara because it makes me look less dead". - Yet another drugstore product for those of you with a smaller budget, but a good product all the same. I have pinched this off my Mum on the odd occasion when I have been home and I have to agree it is really good! Boots - £5.19.

5. RACHEL | LONG HAUL CABIN CREW FOR EMIRATES - "Product chosen:

Sephora cream lip stain colour 01. As my job actually has lipstick as part of the uniform I knew it was essential to find one that would be long lasting as well as be the perfect shade of red that matched my completion. This lip stain is perfect for the job. It not only stains your lips for hours it also manages to remain even after a long hard shift on board. Alongside lasting stay I need the lipstick or stain I use to not completely dry my lips out due to working in such an environment that causes dehydration. It manages to not look cracked even if your lips are starting to dry due to the altitude which is ideal for my job. I would promote this product to any one wishing for a lip stain that actually does its job and lasts hours on end even after eating drinking and chatting for hours, it's an amazing beauty product which lasts even at crazy high altitudes." - Well I am not going to lye, having lipstick as a part of your uniform sounds right up my street! I would love to wear lipstick all day every day! I have not had the pleasure of trying any of the Sephora own brand products before, but the next time I am near a Sephora I am going to certainly pick some up! From searching this lip stain myself, I have actually found that it is matte as well, which makes it sound even further up my street! Sephora - $7.00 (Sale currently).

6. STEPH | SALES MANAGER & MUM OF 2 - "I have a few reliable beauty products to be honest. The most staple thing is mascara - I think the Maybelline Voluminous lashes is the one I have at the minute! Need mascara or my eyes look like pee holes in the snow thanks to the fair eyelashes. I also love coconut oil to cleanse and moisturise my skin - fabulous! That is pretty much it - and drinking plenty of water helps my skin also! I can really tell if I don't drink enough." - I can completely relate to the whole fair eyelashes chat, my eyelashes are pathetically short and so therefore rely on layers of mascara to actually make my eyes noticeable! I have not tried coconut oil before, but have heard many different comments about the use of this as skincare! Look Fantastic - £10.

7. LAURA | DENTAL AND VETERINARY NURSE - "My favourite beauty product is the Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation. Having a combination of oily/dry skin I am usually a person who has a lot of trouble finding a foundation that suits my skin. However, this is a foundation that I can wear confidently without any worries of getting acne break outs or dry spots. I love how this foundation sits on my skin with good coverage but still looks natural. Its not a heavy foundation that clogs but instead feels weightless to the skin and is long lasting. This makes it ideal for when I am wearing it on a day to day basis. However, it goes on so smoothly it also allows me to build up layers for when I am going out on an evening and prefer greater coverage". - By this review I have been totally and completely convinced that this foundation is right up my street! I also have combination skin myself, and need a really good and build-able coverage for my daily foundation! I have been on the hunt for a new foundation for a little while and have got a feeling this may well be the one I have to try next! Boots - £32.50.

......

8. TONI | ASSISTANT MANAGER - "My favourite beauty product is my Nars Cosmetics All Day Luminous Foundation. Its light, doesn't look like I am wearing a lot of foundation and you dont have to use a lot for your whole face. I have had mine for 2 months and got loads left! It works well with my Nars Cosmetics primer which blocks pores so stops any redness and allows the foundation to stick better on your face.I have literally tried all foundations from Kiko, Estee Lauder, Chanel, Mac and all of the superdrug store brands and this one is my favourite by far. Definitely worth the £31." - I feel as though this review from Toni was a reiteration of what I have heard from so many of the bloggers and youtubers I follow out there, so it must be pretty darn good. I feel like this is another foundation I need to branch out and try! John Lewis - £32.00.

......

9. CHARLOTTE | SPORTSWEAR FASHION STUDENT - "My favourite beauty product at the moment is my foundation - Dior Air Flash. For someone who suffers with acne and combination skin, this foundation, paired with a good translucent powder, is my ride or die. It's an absolutely flawless finish and I find I can build it up depending on the coverage I would like for that occasion. It gives me the confidence in my skin and I absolutely swear by it!" - AGAIN, this sounds like yet another incredible foundation which is totally appropriate for my combination skin also! All of you reading this are getting a fabulous amount of recommendations for combination skin! John Lewis - £33.50.

......

10. AIMEE | BLOGGER & MUM OF TWO - "My holy grail beauty product that I buy again and again is Lush's ultrabland cleanser. I have never found a cleanser so thick and soothing for my problematic skin. It does the job lot, removes my make up, cleanses my skin and on occasion if my skin is super bad I use it as a mask. The honey base just seems to work when I need it the most and once you know how to use it it is so easy to use." - How have I never heard of this product before?! Lush honestly does the best skincare ever so this sounds like something I would absolutely love to try out! Lush Cosmetics - £7.95.

......

So I have definitely learned A LOT from putting this post together and that's for sure! There are some incredible recommendations from all of these lovely ladies above! Some of which I am definitely going to have to purchase and try out for myself!

If you all liked the style of this post and want me to incorporate more of my friends in these style of 'favourites' posts then I would be more than happy to put more of these together for you all!
