Spring Daytime Entire Estee Lauder Look

It has been a little while since I have brought you all a beauty post here on my blog, or at least a make up look post anyway. I am now lucky enough to own a full collection of make up by one of my favourite beauty brands ever - Estee Lauder. Estee Lauder was probably one of the first high end make up brands I actually bought into, and it was simply because of my obsession with the Double wear foundation - which you guys know I am head over heels for and have been since Summer 2014.

At christmas I was lucky enough to receive an incredible set of make up from my boyfriends parents, who could not have got it more right. They must know I am a true make up lover, and I could not have been more grateful to have received such an incredible amount of Estee Lauder goodies, all of which I use constantly or have already completely used up! So, I do happen to know a lot about this make up set - because I actually bought my Mum it for christmas too! The set include approximately £300 worth of products and was being sold on the Estee Lauder website for an incredible £55!! Such a steal for what you actually received in the set! So, it included an amazing eye shadow palette, blusher/bronzer, 3 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses, mascara, night repair serum, eye make up remover and a moisturiser which I used in no time! Some of the products in the set I use on a regular basis, and some I choose to leave for special occasions when I decide to wear them!

So, for today's post I thought I would put together a little look for you all featuring some of the Estee Lauder products I own. I absolutely love each and every single product I used in today's look, so as an accumulative look I was extremely happy with the way it all turned out. There is something extremely satisfying with creating a whole look using just one make up brand, a little bit like wearing a matching set of underwear (strange but true comparison). So for now, I am going to talk you through each of the products used for my base, eyes, lips & cheeks and also link you to each and every product.

Base: So for my base I have decided to go with my trusty Double wear foundation (which I am currently mixing with a drugstore one as it is a little bit too dark for my skin and I am going to visit my nearest Estee Lauder counter this Thursday at Meadowhall for colour match test) as this is my favourite ever foundation & has the most incredible coverage ever! I would always recommend anyone to try this who loves a matte, full coverage and wants to invest in a trusty product which actually works. For concealer and under eye highlight I went with the double wear concealer in the shade 07 warm light which again, is the same product as the foundation, therefore is guaranteed amazing coverage which again, is what I need and love for my extremely problematic skin.

Cheeks: For my cheeks I have used the limited edition all over shimmer bronzer/blusher which is essentially a peachy blusher/bronzer. The reason I say I don't know whether its a blush or bronzer is because its a shade somewhere in between and can be worn as both. I absolutely love this shade for the Spring & Summer because it really is the most beautiful peach shimmy shade and adds the perfect glow to your cheeks. (This blush is no longer available but I would always recommend the bronze goddess bronzer).

Eyes: So for my eyes I went for a shimmery bronzed look using the pure color envy sculpting eye shadow palette which has the most beautiful range of colours. For this look I used the shade infamous sky all over the lid which is a beautiful matte white and I used this as the base to the shimmery eye shadow. Following this I used the shade Rebel metal to the outer corner of the lid and to add some form of definition to the lid as well as through the crease. I ensured to then blend the 2 shades together so that it is a transitional smoky look. I absolutely love it and its perfect for that spring daytime look. I then used the Estee Lauder sumptuous extreme mascara which has taken the top spot as being my favourite mascara at the moment, I am just loving how it completely transforms my lashes!! The brush is so thick and full and makes my extremely small lashes look almost false because they are so transformed!

Lips: Last but definitely not least is the lips! For my lips today I decided to go for a nude look, because they are my favourite shades to wear & look perfect to complete that day time look!! I went with the shade 'rose tea' which is a beautiful cream consistency nude lipstick. I wear this lipstick on an extremely regular basis because I am obsessed with the colour and its super easy to wear and team with any outfit! It also went perfectly with the bronzed smoky eye for today's look!

I would always recommend getting your hands on Estee Lauder make up, I never have experienced any products from their ranges that have not worked for me or been appropriate for a make up look at some point. I would always recommend double wear foundation and concealer to anybody who is struggling with their oily, blemish prone skin because the coverage is incredible and stays in place for so long. Also, if you have pathetically short eyelashes like myself, then the sumptuous extreme mascara would be the answer to your prayers too! I am crazy for it! As always, I would definitely recommend checking out the lipsticks from their collection too - particularly nudes because you really cannot go wrong with an everyday nude lipstick!

If you would like to see me create more looks using just one brand of make up then let me know in the comments below, as it works so well to reviewing a brand but also individual products and how well they all compliment each other. I have really missed creating looks here on my blog, so these will be re-appearing much more here as well as over my channel which you all need to head over and subscribe to by clicking here

Much Love

Lauren
