Falling for Autumn

Well what more could you expect from an Autumn lover than another Autumn post! This one is fashion related, the first of the autumn fashion posts! I love how this season is transitional and its completely acceptable to wear a jumper with a skirt but add some tights and boots to ensure you are covered up enough for the chill thats in the air! I have officially got no fashion fear any more too, which I actually used to have horrifically. However, since moving away from my home town permanently and not being surrounded by the judgemental people or by people at university who used to comment or judge me on everything, I literally dont care about anything any more. 2 years ago if someone had said to me that I'd feel completely confident wearing hats I'd have laughed but honestly I love them, I feel like I suit them and they make me feel so feminine and lets be honest... they're great for if you're having a bad hair day! I feel super confident when im wearing them and just feel like theyre the perfect Autumn/winter accessory to tie your whole outfit together.

Today, I went for a little bit of a monochrome look with this A-Line dog tooth skirt from Topshop which is an oldie but a goodie, its gotten a little bit small for me to wear on a night out and without tights so I figured that instead of getting rid of it, I'd just transform it into a daytime skirt... And I feel it works perfectly. I teamed it with a jumper I bought very recently from Primark which im crazy for.. the value was incredible and obviously the jumper is super cosy and very versatile also. Now the chilly weather is back the boots have come out of hiding also.. the other day I swapped all of my summer clothes in my wardrobe for winter ones the sandals were swapped for my boots. This pair is a pair i've had for about 3 years but they are super comfy and wearable and I just love them. A fedora for this day was a necessity, I love this one from Primark and feel it just tired everything together perfectly to create a monochrome autumnal look. I went for silver toned make up and a nude lip - because who doesnt love a nude lip.

What I also added to this outfit was a smile, a huge one at that! Im so happy at the moment its crazy.. everything is fitting into place exactly how I want it to! Ive got my dream job, a beautiful new house, live in such an amazing city, so close to my family, have amazing friends and family around me, have the most incredible boyfriend who is my best friend and so much more! The other day me and simon sat down and we were having conversations about things which to me are super exciting, things we've been waiting for for years which to anyone else would be insignificant but to us they really arent. I could not be happier. I hope you are all super happy with your lives also, there's no better feeling than just being so content with everything and everything just fitting into place perfectly.
